It establishes for tourist hotels six categories, among which five with assignment of the certain quantity of stars (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*). The ‘stars’ are needed not for the hotel to show off, but for the clients to know what they can expect. They tell us what the hotel has and what it hasn't got, rather than whether it is good or bad. Higher star ratings indicate more luxury.
