Then an opportunity showed itself to Dorian. Basil had painted him and portrait of extraordinary beauty. Dorian wishes in himself that he could switch situations with the portrait, being able to remain always young and commit as many sins as he would want. Strangely this wish is granted, and Dorian is finally able to accomplish the one thing he had always wanted: pleasure, being moral or immoral. Many years later, when Dorian is in his mid-forties, a series of events triggers him to try and start a new life. He lives in constant fear, afraid of letting anyone see the picture which reveals his corrupted soul.

Мета даної курсової роботи полягає у з’ясуванні структурних та семантичних особливостей ЛСП “dream” в сучасні англійській мові.
Досягнення поставленої мети потребувало вирішення таких дослідницьких завдань:
1) розглянути засади вивчення ЛСП в сучасній лінгвістиці;
2) описати особливості ЛСП як одиниці лексико-семантичної системи мови з погляду сучасної лінгвістики;
3) з’ясувати лексичне значення слова dream, склавши синтетичну дефініцію лексеми dream за даними словників сучасної англійської мови;
4) окреслити особливості ядерно-периферійної організації ЛСП “dream” в сучасній англійській мові;
5) розробити тематичну класифікацію ЛСП“dream”.

Each person is allocated with imagination. Since the early childhood the imagination starts owning our thoughts. It represents before us pictures future and last, real-life and fantastic. The imagination is as if a brush thanks to which we can draw things and the phenomena which else never saw. And exactly thanks to imagination the person has dreams. At first, they absolutely simple also are easily feasible. Then the person starts growing and learning the world, to place priorities and preferences. And together with the person his dreams grow also. They become wider also more concrete.

My name is Ekaterina. I ,my brother and parents live in Avtozavodsky district in two room apartment. I have a separate room of my own, which is nice. However, I would like to make some changes there. my current room orange, but I would like that she was brownish-black. I like a lot of dark colors. I have a small study with a desk, a chair, a computer, a lamp and some book shelves. I wouldn’t like to change anything there as it’s a very cozy corner.
