As you probably know, in August 31, 2009 Disney company announced its acquisition of Marvel Entertainment, Inc. From my point of view the main idea of this article is to check fairness and adequacy of price paid by Disney for Marvel. So, the instrument which the author used to check price is making a business valuation of Marvel company on the date of acquisition by himself.
First of all, the author remind us about three popular approaches used in pricing the acquisitions

I decided to choose this theme because I really like it. I like the simplicity but at the same time it’s power. Also talking about simplicity – it’s not that simple to represent 100% of your thoughts and emotions through this art movement and every artist that have done work in this style should have been very clear where and what he/she wants to show his audience.
That’s another reason why I chose this theme. It’s very effective and eye-catching. This art stands out and makes you think - it makes a lot of sense. I think it represents people’s view on politics and society.

Quantitative techniques describe variables by assigning a number – representing an attitude, opinion or motivation- which can be statistically analyzed. Quantitative methods are based on facts that can be observed, and then analysed. To find out economic influences of tourism in the town of Imatra and to study money consumption of individual tourists in the town, we need to think about what kind of variables and indicators (ways and tools to collect data) can be used in the study.
